HELLO EVERYBODY!!

FROM "ROMOLO GESSI" SCHOOL IN SAN PIETRO IN VINCOLI - RAVENNA

Hi there! We're writing from Ravenna, a wonderful city in the north-east of Italy.

Ravenna is very beautiful, it's an ancient byzantine city with lots of monuments and precious mosaics.

It's very close to the sea, just 10 km, so you can swim, sunbathe and play beach tennis, which is a very popular sport here, and enjoy the wide beaches of the Adriatic coast.

If you want to have fun with your friends you can go to Mirabilandia, which is an amazing theme park just 5 km far from Ravenna.

In Ravenna you can eat very good food, typical pasta and special dishes and drink very good wine (if you are 18  or older!).

We study English at school and the pics you can see in this paper are from this summer holiday in Eastbourne, Uk, where we spent two weeks learning English and seeing places in the south of England. We enjoyed London!! It's cool!!
